CEBU, Philippines - A man and a woman were arrested during a buy-bust operation yesterday afternoon in sitio Grancena in barangay Opao, Mandaue City for peddling shabu.
Arrested by a team led by OIC Opao police station chief P/Insp. Ariston Bataluna were Christopher Baunsit, 33, a shoe repairman, and companion Adelfa Vitor, 35, married, both reside in the area.
The transaction took place in an alley, Baunsit handing over shabu to a poseur buyer in exchange for five hundred pesos. He then left in a hurry, leaving Vitor behind.
Police arrested Vitor for possession of drug paraphernalia, and then Baunsit for selling prohibited drugs. The money used in the operation was recovered.
Both are detained at the Opao police station. (FREEMAN)
