Trisikad driver hacks fellow trisikad driver

CEBU, Philippines - A trisikad driver is now in serious condition after being hacked several times by another trisikad driver Thursday afternoon in barangay Upper Tabok, Mandaue City.

Lorenzo Dabon, 40, of sitio Kamanggahan in barangay Tabok sustained hack wounds on the head and body and was rushed to the Mandaue City Hospital.

Police said Dabon was just standing on the roadside when fellow trisikad driver and neighbor known as Jomar Soco, 23, bumped his parked trisikad which prompted Dabon to confront him which led to a heated argument.

Soco left the place but unknown to Dabon, Soco had already positioned himself in a secluded place to wait for Dabon to pass by.

When Dabon came, Soco attacked him with a bolo, police said. Soco fled at once.
