Farmer shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A 67-year-old farmer was shot to death at around 4 a.m. yesterday while on his way home from his farm in sitio Talisay, barangay Candulawan, Talisay City.

Based on the initial investigation conducted by the police, Brexio Obsequias, 67, single, and a resident of the place, was walking towards his home after spending some time in his farm, when an unidentified person appeared and shot him once.

Obsequias was hit at the right side of his forehead killing him instantly. (FREEMAN)
