Strong winds bring down trees, houses

CEBU, Philippines - Strong winds brought by Typhoon Ramon damaged two houses in sitio Pangan-an in Olango island yesterday at around 1 a.m.
The houses were owned by Marites Querubin, 31, married, with three children, and Gertrudes Baron, 60, widow, who lives with her daughter.
Nobody was hurt.
The homeless were then taken to the barangay hall.
On the other hand, Zacharias Baron, 62, barangay treasurer of the place said the strong winds brought down many coconut trees and banana plants. - THE FREEMAN
