CEBU, Philippines - A drug personality who has long been in the wanted list of the police for two years was arrested Monday evening at his residence at Rockwell Subdivision in barangay Tayud, Consolacion town.
Belton Cabahug, 35, was arrested by a team from the Opao police station led by P/Insp. Wilson Abot on the strength of a warrant of arrest for a violation of the Illegal Drugs Act issued by Judge Agustin Vestil, the presiding Judge of the RTC branch 56. He is now detained at the Mandaue city jail.
Abot said Cabahug, who once lived in barangay Paknaan, Mandaue City, disappeared after learning a warrant for his arrest had been issued.
No bail has been recommended for his temporary liberty. - THE FREEMAN
