Police find death threat in laptop compartment

CEBU, Philippines -  Police investigating the death of businesswoman Irish Marie Hugo Gonzales have found what looks like a death threat.

Inside a compartment of her laptop her relatives had turned over to the police was an orange notebook with names of people who must have owed her money.

Somewhere in the middle pages of the notebook, police found the threatening words: “Mamatay ka Arlene og dili ka mobayad sa baboy. Mamatay ka!, mamatay! Inig panganak nimo???Arlene???,

The police are studying the penmanship.

Gonzales, who owns Stockland International Furniture in barangay Paknaan, was ambushed Friday evening on A. Soriano and Plaridel streets in barangay Looc, Mandaue City. – (FREEMAN)
