Consolacion makes certain bottled water is safe to drink

CEBU, Philippines - To ensure the safety of the drinking public, the Consolacion Municipal Health Office is closely monitoring the operations of traders engaged in the refill and sale of bottled water.

Consolacion Mayor Teresa Alegado said she has told the health office to make sure those engaged in the business of refilling and selling bottled mineral water complied with all the requirements set by the Department of Health and other agencies.

She said these bottled mineral water is sold even in mountain barangays of the town and therefore it is necessary that traders protect the welfare of consumers.

"Sa tanang higayon nagkinahanglan gayud kita og tabang gikan sa atong mga katawhan ug ingon man sa mga opisyal sa barangay," Alegado said. (FREEMAN)
