CEBU, Philippines - A 22-year-old man who is believed to be a murder suspect was arrested by the police after a chase in barangay Lawaan III, Talisay City the other day.
Lloyd Orsal Mangubat, a resident of sitio Pungsod of barangay Lawaan, and Philip Cuizon Aro are suspects in the killing of Jason Taberos Cuyoca in Riverside, Lawaan III last Sunday.
Mangubat was arrested the other day while Aro is still at large as of press time.
Both are alleged members of the Crips gang, Chief Inspector Eddie Recamara, acting chief of the Talisay City Police Station (TCPS) said.
Recamara said the two are also suspects for the murder of Isagani Vasquez Ravino, 25, a liniment vendor, last May 25.
Ravino was shot in the head while on his way home after buying a softdrink near his rented house in Lawaan III.
