CEBU, Philippines - The Lapu-Lapu City government has implemented livelihood projects for unemployed wives in the city through the City Social Welfare Office.
Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza said financial assistance have also been extended for the purpose of putting up their own business or to form themselves into cooperatives.
"Gipaningkamutan nato karon nga mahatagan gayud sa ilang kaugalingon nga panginabuhian ang atong mga kababayen-an aron sa ingon aduna sila'y ilang kaugalingon nga kapanginabuhian," Radaza said.
Radaza said an office has been created for the purpose of assisting those who wish to form cooperatives.
