CEBU, Philippines - Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza the other day said despite the series of crimes that had taken place in the city, she is still satisfied with the performance of police chief Senior Supt. Anthony Obenza, giving him a grade of "six" from a scale of one to ten.
The lack of personnel is what plagues his station, Obenza told Radaza.
But the mayor does not accept Obenza's explanation as a valid reason. She said the police can easily ask for assistance from the Barangay Intelligence Network.
Leo Mercado, president of the Association of Barangay Councils (ABC), said barangay tanods and members of the barangay intelligence network have knowledge in dealing with crimes and criminals. (FREEMAN)
