Trisikad driver found dead

CEBU, Philippines - A young trisikad driver allegedly hanged himself inside his house in sitio Ilang-ilang, barangay Lagtang, Talisay City Wednesday afternoon.

Anecito Fuentes Jr., 17, single, was taken to the Talisay District Hospital in barangay San Isidro but was declared dead before 5 p.m.

PO3 Mikie Espina, one of the investigators who responded to the alarm, said it was the boy's father who discovered his son hanging from a nylon rope inside their house.

He said Fuentes could have committed suicide while his parents were out.

Espina said based on their interviews with the victim's parents, none of them knew the reason why their son killed himself.

According to the mother, Fuentes had run-ins with his father a few times in the past because of his bad behavior.

But his mother said she does not remember the two fighting prior to his death. (FREEMAN)
