CEBU, Philippines - A man was rushed to hospital after getting stabbed by a brother Monday evening in sitio Culo in barangay Canjulao, Lapu-Lapu City.
Vicente Cabahug, 55, was taken to the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital but was transferred to a hospital in Cebu City. His attacker, Esmeraldo Cabahug, 48, surrendered to Canjulao barangay captain Nestor Paypa.
He is now detained at the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office.
Homicide said Vicente was at a neighbor's house attending a birthday party and Esmeraldo, who lived near it, wasn't pleased with the loud singing.
When Esmeraldo confronted Vicente about the loudness, a heated altercation developed.
Homicide said Vicente went home to get a knife and returned to Esmeraldo and stabbed him twice, hitting him on the left arm and body. — THE FREEMAN
