Beach resorts, hotels to offer affordable food

CEBU, Philippines - As part of the weekly activities leading to the celebration of the "Kadaugan sa Mactan" on April 27, beach resorts and hotels in Lapu-Lapu City will offer food to visitors to the Liberty Shrine in barangay Mactan at discounted prices.

Lapu-Lapu City Tourism and Historical Commission Commissioner Hembler Mendoza said the city expects a lot visitors and tourists to join the merriment as well as sample the food resorts and hotels will offer.

Lapu-Lapu City lone district Congressman Arturo O. Radaza, his wife Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza, other city officials, department heads, employees, and barangay officials will attend the opening program on Monday.
