CEBU, Philippines - A jobless 26-year-old man was found dead inside his home in sitio Upper Dita, barangay Pulangbato, Cebu City at 5:30 a.m. yesterday.
Joeybert Lage, single, was discovered by neighbor Obet Oca lying on his back with his body smeared with blood.
Lage sustained a single gunshot wound in his chest.
Initial investigation conducted by crime scene investigators PO2
Junbert Acosta and PO2 Ariel Natur revealed that Lage was possibly shot while sleeping inside his unfinished house by a killer who was a few meters away from him.
Lage's body was taken to St. Francis Memorial Homes for autopsy. (FREEMAN)
