CEBU, Philippines - In a bid to bring the government closer to people, Lapu-Lapu City Officials will visit Olango Island today.
A public hearing will he held at 9:30 a.m. to discuss the proposed fish sanctuary in the island.
The visit to the island also gives Mayor Paz Radaza to meet barangay officials and residents.
The city council will meet for its regular session at 2 p.m.
Radaza would receive visitors at the mini-city hall where she would hold office for a day.
The Mini-City hall in Olango Island was constructed during the administration of the late city mayor Maximo V. Patalinghug.
The late city mayor Ernest Weigel, Jr. attempted to utilize the mini-city hall in the island but failed.—(FREEMAN)
