Mall prioritizes town residents in job fair

CEBU, Philippines - Consolacion town Mayor Teresa Alegado said the successful job fair last week is part of the plans of her administration to assist high school and college graduates find work.

She said she has designated PESO coordinator Foxter Mindanao to coordinate with barangay officials and establishments looking for workers.

Alegado said PESO will assist job applicants apply for work in companies here and abroad.

Alegado thanked the management of SM Mall for prioritizing town residents in the recent job fair.

"Muhangyo gyud ta niadtong mga kompaniya nga gusto mutukod sa Consolacion nga ila gyud hatagan og priority ang taga lungsod," said Alegado.

The mayor had asked companies to help the municipal government in providing jobs to residents.

She said the town also helps applicants prepared their applications. (FREEMAN)
