CEBU, Philippines - A policeman from the Siquijor Provincial Police Office lost his service firearm while allegedly asleep in the house of a police official in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.
PO1 Ian Bation of Larena, Siquijor told the Theft and Robbery Section of the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office that he became aware of the loss of his .45 caliber pistol at around 4 am Friday while sleeping in the house of superior P/C Supt. Drusillo Bolodo, the present deputy regional director for administration of the Police Regional Office-8.
Bolodo, who is currently in Region 8, owns a house at Aviation Road, Hangar in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.
Bation said that upon his arrival here in Cebu, he immediately proceeded to Bolodo's house.
Because he was extremely tired at the time, he immediately went to sleep without closing the door of his room.
He said he is certain his gun was stolen while he was asleep. (FREEMAN)
