2 men rob bbq outlet

CEBU, Philippines - Two armed men robbed a well-known barbeque grill outlet in Mandaue City of P33,000 as it was about to close Thursday evening.

Police said AA Barbeque Grill located along A. Soriano Street in barangay Centro was robbed at around 10 pm while cashier Maricel Aranez, 23, was counting the day's earnings.

Security guard Primi Lumapac, 20, of the Extreme Security Force said the robbers suddenly arrived onboard a motorcycle with no plate number.

Both robbers wore bonnets that covered their faces and helmets when they slipped into the store.

One of them pulled out a .45 caliber and aimed it at the security guard and ordered him to lie face down on the floor. The armed robber took the security guard's .38 caliber revolver.

The other robber went straight to the cashier and took the store's earnings.

The police were immediately informed about the incident but the culprits were not caught. (FREEMAN)
