CEBU, Philippines - He said garbage collectors in the town have been ordered not to collect garbage that has not been segregated.

Yungco and Tabunag said Mayor Frasco wants to see the programs succeed.

Yungco said in recognition of the Filipino culture and the value of the Bayanihan Spirit which has proven milestone success, Mayor Frasco issued Executive Order No. 2011 dated January 11, 2011, enjoining all barangay captains to establish Purok in their respective barangays.

The Order seeks to attain the primordial objectives of the eGWEN Program which aims to make Cebu an attractive place to live, work, play, invest and do business.

Close to P1 million has been allocated by the municipal government for the implementation of these programs.

 Prizes will be given to winners from barangay and purok level. (FREEMAN)
