CEBU, Philippines - An employee of an export company at the Mactan Economic Processing Zone Authority (MEPZA) was robbed by two teenagers on her way to work yesterday dawn.

Maria Flores, an employee of Mactan Apparel, said she was waiting for a ride along Maximo Patalinghug Street in Barangay Basak when she noticed two teenagers a few meters away. Moments later, with bonnets already covering their faces, the two hurriedly approached her and declared a holdup. One pointed a knife at her while the other grabbed her bag.

Flores said her bag contained a digital camera worth P9,500; a mobile phone worth P1,800; a silver necklace; and P500 cash.

Police are now conducting a follow-up operation for the possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
