Quezon City bettor wins P100 million lotto pot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor in Quezon City was the lone winner of the P100.8-million jackpot in the Regular Lotto 6/42 on Tuesday night, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said yesterday.
PCSO general manager Melquiades Robles said the winner bought the ticket at a lotto outlet inside the SM City North EDSA.
The bettor guessed the winning combination 19-02-21-13-16-22, which had a total prize of P100,890,109.20.
The PCSO said 85 second prize winners would receive P24,000 each.
The Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law imposes a 20-percent tax on lotto winnings above P10,000.
The Regular Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
