A real racecar was parked at the main drop off of Rustan's Makati at Courtyard Drive. Customized for Rustan's The Beauty Source by Tuason Racing, the annual “Rustan’s Beauty Addict: Race Off to Beauty” begins right at the entrance. Actress and content creator Issa Pressman knew to take a photo op with it before going right in. Inside, beauty addicts felt the thrill of Formula 1 with Tuason Racing's racing simulator.
Fashion designer and Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel Nola got warmed up before taking on the expansive beauty racetrack that continues inside. Brands like L'Occitane, Diptyque, Malin+Goetz, Grown Alchemist, L:a Bruket, Saturday Skin, RMS Beauty, Stila, Phyto, Aveda, CHANEL, Clarins, La Prairie, Sisley, Anastasia Beverly Hills, MAC, Jo Malone London, Tom Ford, Nuxe and Maison Margiela are the prize-packed pit stops. Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa and celebrity makeup artist Jelly Eugenio were spotted swatching products in between trying out some games and winning prizes.
There were talks and master classes, too: Jeanette Ipapo-Tuason, founder and CEO of Tuason Racing, shared how she maintains grace under pressure. Celebrity makeup artists RB Chanco and Justin Soriano did a makeup master class on Tamara Pineda co-presented by Laura Mercier.
Guests were spotted winding down at New Lounge’s booth for a lash consult and lash shampoo. Belo Medical Group’s Skin Analyzer was booked and busy. Dashing Diva was offering their popular Basic Express Manicure (still the fastest mani in the city!) while Emphasis Salon offered Blow-Dry & Hair Styling. Beauty device fans tried and tested Heart Evangelista’s Luxelle gadgets for a beauty investment — all to beats by DJ Miaow and DJ Nix Damn P.
But what’s at the finish line? Beauty Addict members can take advantage of a x5 points multiplier on all beauty purchases at Rustan’s The Beauty Source until Sept. 30.
Until Oct. 31, Beauty Addict members making a minimum purchase of P30,000 at Rustan’s The Beauty Source will receive a JBL Go 4 Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker (available in three colorways: black, blue and red).
Until Nov. 30, every P5,000 spent at Rustan’s The Beauty Source earns Beauty Addict members one e-raffle entry for a chance to win fantastic raffle prizes. The grand prize is a four-day/ three-night stay for two in the executive suite of The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Center, inclusive of round-trip business class flights, courtesy of Philippine Airlines. The grand prize winner will also get the chance to rent a Ferrari 488 Spyder for a day or enjoy the Caravanserai Desert Safari for two. The second prize is a P100,000 shopping spree at Rustan’s The Beauty Source, and the third prize is a pair of His and Hers Apple Watch Series 9 with Sport Band.
