The excessive heat warning throughout Metro Manila feels like a memory once you step inside Greenbelt 3.
In the Jimmy Choo store, a different kind of “ice” is laid out on the tables — sparkling Swarovski crystals in clear and rainbow colors, the new icy blue from this season’s bridal collection, and tiny, twinkling rhinestones —lending a dressed up kind of cool to sneakers and stilettos as part of the Jimmy Choo made-to-order service.
Sparkle isn’t new for Jimmy Choo; the London-based, Italian-made brand is a fashion icon for its flattering bedazzled pieces.
Filipinas love the Bing, a slip-on with a crystal strap across the top of the foot — notable for not shortening the silhouette of the leg with an ankle strap — and amping up this leg-lengthening detail with 65mm and 100mm heel height options. It’s also surprisingly comfortable, making Bing a popular wedding shoe for generations.
During the launch of Jimmy Choo’s made-to-order service, women can’t get enough of Bing. This time it’s personalized with the six-digit date or a gold or silver plaque engraved with their wedding anniversaries or birthdays on the soles of their bespoke shoes. Some added up to four characters from an alphabet of blue or golden letters, numbers, and symbols.
Brides are ditching stilettos for sneakers, too. The made-to-order service lets you dress them up to match your gown. Aside from everyone’s favorite Swarovskis, you can get your pair customized in leather, satin, velvet, glitter, and lace — or try the new shimmer suede and satin with all-over pearls.
You don’t need a milestone to get one (or more!) done. Ladies got their favorite Love and Azia in a range of heights.
Did you know that Azia’s double-strap detail is inspired by a kiss, specially designed to elongate the leg by gently dipping below the ankle?
Red carpet favorites like the “naked shoe” Alva and Sacaria 85 have been added to the made-to-order lineup — you can now get them done in over 50 colorways.
Now available in-store, you can walk in for a design consultation ahead of your big date as bespoke shoes should be ready for pick up in 12 to 14 weeks, delivered in an exclusive velvet box.
