MANILA, Philippines - Comeback kid -— model of the moment and consummate YStyle gal Kelsey Merritt makes her way back to Manila. Fresh from a four-month modeling stint in New York — booking e-commerce shoots, campaigns (Uniqlo’s Re-Jean campaign chief among them) and editorial work for international editions of Harper’s Bazaar and L’Officiel — from go-sees to re-sees, castings to callbacks, Kelsey spent her summer pounding the pavements of New York under contract with Wilhelmina Models.

In an exclusive look at the upcoming 5th edition of the Philippine Fashion Ball, Joey Samson’s 45-piece collection is set to debut this Sunday at the Peninsula Manila, Aug. 16, 2015.

Quizzed upon what to expect for his sophomore solo show, “an attempt at exploring depth and texture,” says Samson, “expect a departure from the norm.”
