Manila Fashion Festival
MANILA, Philippines - From Nov. 11 to 13, Green Sun in Makati City will play host to Manila Fashion Festival — a three-day fashion event featuring a slew of young designers that offers a sharp counterpoint to the recently held Philippine Fashion Week.
The designer lineup includes Vania Romoff, Veejay Floresca, Chris Diaz, Mark Bumgarner, Cheetah Rivera, Jaz Cerezo, Sassa Jimenez, Renan Pacson, Pablo Cabahug, Yay Clothing by Yevgeniya Alexandrovna Yushkova. Organizer Art Personas’ in-house brand Arin will also make its debut.

An intimate conversation with Manila’s creative minds — 9TV serves up a half-hour documentary with featured personalities in their respective fields. In the realms of fashion publishing, independent film, art, and pop culture, Good Company airs every Sunday at 7 p.m. on 9TV.
For this week, Good Company sits down with fashion photographer and model icon, YStyle favorite, Jo Ann Bitagcol. Jo Ann is industry famous for having an unconventional origin story — from an awkward youth discovered at a pronvincial panciteria to the atypical beauty that ushered in the age of Philippine androgyny. #WeAreTipped with Fred Perry Philippines
Inspired by the global #WeAreTipped campaign, Fred Perry Philippines is tipped towards rebuilding schools in Tacloban through in-store shopping to donate initiatives and a portrait series. To support the campaign, Fred Perry customers can purchase Twin Tipped shirts, of which 10 percent of each sale goes to Habitat for Humanity. Also, in collaboration with the nation’s top photographers, from Oct. 12 to Nov. 22, top lensmen will spend weekends turning Fred Perry shops into makeshift studios. Customers who come in their Twin Tipped best can have their portraits taken.
The portrait series began with BJ Pascual, Geric Cruz, Jo Ann Bitagcol, and Roy Macam. Upcoming shoots are on Nov. 9 with Kai Huang, Nov. 16 with Joseph Pascual, and lastly, Nov. 23 with Mark Nicdao.
