MANILA, Philippines - Modern-day Halloween has become just another excuse to party for the young and beautiful (most of whom put great effort into the most minute details of this or that costume — yes, I’m talking to you, “sexy” nurse/policewoman/hula dancer/whatever). In myth, however, All Hallows’ Eve is when the souls of the dead return to our plane. Inspired by the restless spirits to whom we owe the fun and folklore of what is arguably one of our favorite holidays, YStyle brings you haunting pieces from some of Manila’s designers — not quite of this world or the other, but perhaps from somewhere in between.
