We’re only a little over a decade — but in YStyle years, where every editor who’s ever worked on the page knows are filled with both growing pains and milestones — we feel like we’re way past pubescence and well into that phase where we know exactly who we are.
A new era has dawned and this is Day One, when we introduce our readers to a sleeker, more sophisticated look for YStyle, as the subtle, yet imposing glamour of our new logo dictates. Slim lines and white space, together, stitch a lucent visual narrative and encourage dreaming — a treat to the artists we’ll soon be collaborating with. Pictures and type have more room to breathe.
On our 10th anniversary, we shot a video where one of our collaborators said YStyle reminds her of a blank space, a white room where anything can happen. It’s a beautiful thought that’s come to fruition today.
