Dior weaves a “New Look” for Manila

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The term “New Look” is very significant for the House of Dior, because this is how Carmel Snow, former editor in chief of Harper’s Bazaar, described Christian Dior’s first collection that debuted in Feb. 12. Ms. Snow eagerly proclaimed the words that would go down in history: “It’s such a revolution, such a New Look!”

Almost 70 years later and half a world away from Paris, Dior will launch a “New Look” for a different market: Manila. And it is not all just about surface-level “looks” — a completely different Dior experience will be coming to Rustan’s Department Store in Shangri-La Plaza Mall. The new counter embodies the spirit of the designer himself. The 42-square-meter space is an ideal area for clients to experience the comfort and elegance of Dior.

The counter is divided into three sections, each catering to the various Dior product ranges: fragrance, skincare and makeup. With classic scents such as Miss Dior and Poison to more modern creations such as Dior Addict and J’Adore, the Dior fragrances are available in full range. As for the skincare products, only the finest ingredients such as Icelandic Glacial Water in DiorSnow and Rose de Granville extract in Prestige are used to care for your skin. Each customer will experience total immersion in the Dior range with Rouge Dior and DiorSkin.

A new team of highly professional and competent Dior Beauty Consultants has been trained to meet the needs of new clients. Expect only the best service as the Beauty Consultants tailor-fit the perfect Dior products for you. The new Dior counter opens at Rustan’s Department Store in Shangri-La Plaza Mall today.
