Dazed and suffused (with glamour, duh!)

MANILA, Philippines - Hundreds showed up at White Space last week to celebrate the debut of Glamour Daze, MAC’s latest collection. MAC UK senior artist Cher Webb, often behind the scenes at London and New York Fashion Weeks working on the shows of Vivienne Westwood, Kenzo, Preen and Erdem, flew in to demonstrate the season’s key look: a sweet-dramatic glamour evocative of ’60s debutantes and ’80s prom queens.

Having worked with celebs like Emily Blunt, Lizzy Jagger and Salma Hayek, Webb is familiar with the trappings of glamour.

And that was clearly the theme of the event: from the white carpet enveloping White Space to the tufted pink walls straight out of a ’70s boudoir. And to complete the look, models garbed like Prom Barbie waltzed past guests.
