How to stop makeup meltdown

MANILA, Philippines - Face it: Our hot and humid weather can make even lightly applied cosmetics feel like a mask about to slide off. Becca international makeup artist Lisa Pemberton tells us how to prevent makeup meltdown:

• Use Beach Tint on your lips and cheeks, whatever color suits you. Fig’s more delicate. Guava’s a really beautiful color, if you want a bit more tanned, coral-ly kind of glow.

• Resurfacing Primer is fantastic for mattifying skin, also Fine Loose Finishing Powder on top. It’s micronized so it has spherical particles that move with the skin.

• You can also use a mineral powder like the Boudoir Skin, especially in hot weather. Rub it all over your skin with a kabuki brush and buff it right in. You can put a Beach Tint on top.

• For eyes, the Eye Tints are crease-proof and waterproof essential in weather like this.

• One of the new pencils, Mallorca, is a click-pencil eyeliner that’s water-resistant and smudge-proof.

• Becca Black The Ultimate Mascara only comes off with warm water and hasn’t got any fibers in it so it’s not going to break off and leave spider’s feet.
