MANILA, Philippines - The last challenge tested not just skills but the endurance of the remaining teams. A three-pronged challenge showed the teams’ strengths and weaknesses, overcoming more than just the usual fashion shoots.
Champion Infinity served as the inspiration for this episode. The first of the three pronged challenge was the fashion shoot. The teams were trying to capture the perfect shot of beauty. Some of the teams had to go outdoors, playing with the colors of the dresses worn by the models. The next challenge was the TV commercial for Champion Infinity. The team had to produce the look that would convince audiences on the cleaning capabilities of the detergent. The styling had to produce a clean image, with the model clothed in crisp white dresses. The closing challenge was the fashion show. For this episode, resident judges top model Raya Mananquil, fashion designer Avel Bacudio, and Mega EIC Sari Yap were joined by guest judges film and TV director Jose Javier Reyes and creative director of TBWA / SMP for Champion Infinity Manuel Villafania. The Vanguards team 4 won the challenge with director Joey Reyes commenting that the photo done was already magazine worthy. Judges were brutal with reason, since the competition is nearing the finale. Only the strongest will make it to the last challenges to become Mega’s Top Fashion Crew.
