The chic and the cheeky

MANILA, Philippines - If there’s one thing that could have probably put a stop to the Rapture a couple of weeks ago, it would have been those stylish and dazzling pairs that make up Parisian’s newest footwear collection.

Recently unveiled at Philippine Fashion Week, Parisian’s new set of stilettos reflect the trends that dominate both local and international runways: blinding brights, a swirl of prints and earthy neutrals.

Nothing short of show-stopping shoes, these sky-high pairs are not for the faint of heart or fashion, especially those blatantly bright pumps that come in colors taken straight from a Stabilo palette: fuchsia, turquoise, aqua, yellow and red. Equally cheeky  but not as blinding  are peeptoes, sandals and pumps painted with vibrant garden and watercolor-inspired prints. Putting a balance to, but not a damper on, Parisian’s whole shoe collection are the brand’s line of classic neutrals: grays, matte golds, black, silvers, tans, and whites. Though the colors may be muted, the glittery and metallic finish of these evening pairs make them equally desirable.
