“It’s everything that has to do with wellness and vanity,” says Ortega of his new establishment. Done mostly in soft white (Ortega’s signature) with touches of peach, beige and gray, and balanced off by shiny black recliners in the foot massage section, this premiere spa, which offers a variety of massages, body treatments, scrubs and nail pampering, is the perfect no-brainer respite after a long day spent under the hot summer sun. Probably the cherry topping to a one or two-hour relaxing treatment is Ortega’s post-massage fix: a balcony café where you can sip tea, coffee, enjoy dessert or just the stimulating beach breeze.
