MANILA, Philippines - The whole old is new thing has never been a novel idea. A cool retrospective glance at the past, selecting iconic artifacts and then making it the must- have for the season has always been the predictable predicament of fashion. Yet in its most obvious state, it does become more exciting. Think of logomania before logomania. Before artist collaborations. Before Kimora.
The old standbys of yesteryear are the zygotes of fads for this season. Even if you don’t have the original, look at their classic shapes and colors for inspiration. Old school has never looked so cool.
