See the toys and trunks by Louis Vuitton

MANILA, Philippines - Luxury icon Louis Vuitton brings the “Trunks and Toys Exhibition,” a thematic regional trunk exhibition to celebrate the maison’s savoir faire and craftsmanship. The exhibit will commemorate the brand’s perennial legacy in travel culture in the modern age. It is all about travel, a historic storytelling of sorts, and a means to introduce elements of the brand’s know-how reinforced through the trunk display.

Louis Vuitton’s classic designs belong to the history of stylish travel, and these designs have traveled effortlessly through passing eras and fashion, attaining timeless — and indeed cult — status. The exhibition displays a total of 10 rare antique trunks and 12 toys which were produced since 1880. Ten framed images by Jean Lariviere, a famed French photographer will be on display with the trunks and were inspired by the toy collection.

This antique exhibition from the Louis Vuitton Paris museum collection “Trunks and Toys” will take place on the 2/F Gallery of Greenbelt 5, from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., July 15 to Aug. 5.
