Hindy Weber-Tantoco, Amina Aranaz-Alunan on 'The Magazine Show'
MANILA, Philippines - This Saturday May 29 on NU 107, The Magazine Show will feature Hindy Weber-Tantoco and Amina Aranaz-Alunan as their guests, two beauties who have much in common.
Both are designers and members of the Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP). On the highways, they have been spotted sharing the same billboard for Facial Care Centre. And at home they are both hip, young mothers.
Hindy has been an in-house designer for Rustan’s Department Store for the past 10 years. Best known for her label Culte Femme, she also designs for U swim, Belle Mama, Kiddos, Baby Club, Rustan Jr and Rustanette. When she’s not behind the scenes designing for these seven brands or on the spotlight shooting for magazine covers and features, she tells us a thing or two about style as she contributes to the YStyle section of The Philippine Star.
Amina is no stranger to all things chic and aesthetic either. She is the creative director and designer of Aranaz, a luxury brand of modern handcrafted bags made with local materials. These bags are sold in her store in Power Plant and Greenbelt 5, as well as overseas. She is also co-founder and faculty of School of Fashion and the Arts — the first fashion specialized school if its kind in the Philippines offering courses in fashion design, sewing, makeup artistry, styling, photography and modeling.
