On the hunt for Internet TV's newest faces

- JR Isaac -

It was an awesome night as different personalities were unveiled to us at Encore for the Watchpad Crew Search. Each person exuded individuality and confidence, evident in their outfits. Wearing splashes of colors and different textures added flair. They also did the right amount of accessorizing by just wearing a hat, suspenders or a thin belt. The guys looked dashing in their jackets, cardigans or the foolproof long-sleeved shirt.

The 10 teenage finalists are prepared to go from anonymous to famous. The diverse personalities are not the usual eye-candy but also a mash-up of unique personalities, tech-savviness and, most importantly, a raging passion for life. Each defines his or her character through music, sports, arts and even advocacies relevant to today’s generation. Five teens will be chosen through online voting, revealing who stands out and makes a difference.

Jackie Milner

Jackie’s top is from French Connection and she wears cut-off denim shorts from Hong Kong. Her belt and bangles are from Coach and shoes from H&M. At 16, she has already achieved what most girls can only dream about: she is now officially a member of the Philippine Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP).

Paolo Villanueva

Paolo wears a shirt from Lee and a blue vest from Polo. His Guess jeans Aldo shoes complement his preppy style. The 19-year-old Paolo has a bright future ahead of him with his talent for music and humor.

Danielle Miranda

Dan is tagged as Dan The Man. She chose to wear something boyish yet still has a feminine look. The high-waisted black pants are from Promod and tucked into it is a white tank from Zara with suspenders from The Landmark. She wears black heels from Charles and Keith. A sophomore from Cebu, she is considered “one of the boys.”

Carole Monique de Leon

Carole wears a textured black tank from Mango to match her floral skirt from H&M. She accents it with a wide belt from Aldo and shoes from Steve Madden. Known as Blinky among her close friends, her bubbly personality makes her a popular student at the University of San Carlos.

Goldameir Gamir

Goldie’s outfit is from Mango, which is a strapless romper. She matches it with purple snakeskin shoes from CMG. Her love for food has led her to put up and maintain a website about Filipino cuisine.

Nikko Angelo Ramos

Nikko’s pants and belt are from Mossimo, his polo is from PRP and shoes and jacket are both from Nike. His fashion reflects his passion for sports. He is known as DJ Tyler of Wave 89.1 and is also into graphic design.

Mara Schnittka

A senior high school student, Mara’s animal print top is from Mossimo and her shorts are from The Ramp, the red belt from Aldo, red flats from SM. Her red nail polish accents her summer evening get-up.

George Schulze

George’s burgundy shirt is from Zara. He matches it with dark denim from Mossimo and shoes from Sebago. Having survived a long battle with leukemia, he produced a viral video to promote cancer awareness among kids.

Arbie Baguios

Arbie’s checkered shirt is from Topman, black jacket and pants are from People Are People, shoes from Nike. Jules De Martino of Ting Tings and Andrew VanWyngarden of MGMT are his style gurus.
