MANILA, Philippines - Japan Fashion Week, unlike the others feted around the world, is a closed-door event. But this probably just adds to the air of intrigue around the expectedly weird shows. Vector-shaped headpieces from Mintdesign and Aesop’s Fables-on-acid inspired outfits formed the avant-garde, while flowy layered pieces from Eri Matsui rounded out the ethereal front. Everything else that fell in between still had that quirkiness we love about Japanese design.
