Lace to the finish

MANILA, Philippines - Evita, Marlene Dietrich and Madonna have all had a special affinity for lace. The gossamer thin material with its weblike patterns and glimpses of skin is evocative without being overtly sexy.

Lace served as the inspiration for Mac’s upcoming collection dubbed Love Lace. Featuring dramatic eyebrow fillers, spiky false lashes, nude nail lacquer (a beautiful creamy pale gray taupe called Light Affair), pale pink lipstick that’s sure to be on every woman’s must-have list (called Pretty Please in pale pink pearl), the collection is chockfull of subtle, super-wearable hues that will prove to be a sensation.
