Havaianas isn't just slippers anymore

MANILA, Philippines - The best-selling flip-flop brand is now setting its sights on the bag scene. Recently, Havaianas launched a bag collection sharing the same DNA as their world-famous rubber slippers. Elements from the flip-flops can also be found on the collection’s six different styles which include sacks, totes, zip bags and messenger bags, from the bright color palette to the rice pattern on the soles and the diagonal Greek etching on the straps. The bags also feature familiar rubber elements on the bases, straps and closures.

“We always seek to stay fresh not only by keeping our flip-flop styles up-to-date but also by introducing new fashion items that will complement them,” says Anne Arcenas-Gonzalez, distributor of Havaianas in the Philippines. With this newest offering, Havaianas is once again doing what they did with their flip-flops: offer fashionable alternatives that will offer the style set options that don’t compromise fun or function.
