Runway-ready hair to ready-to-wear

-

MANILA, Philippines - The marriage of beauty and fashion is never more apparent than in fashion shows. Philippine Fashion Week, for its second run this year, teamed up with Cream Silk Treatment, the hair care brand’s once-a-week answer for healthy, beautiful locks.

“Today’s women are very much into projecting their unique sense of style and beauty on a daily basis. And we see that their hair has become integral in completing that total look,” explains Anna Castillo, Unilever Philippines’ Brand Manager for Cream Silk. “In the course of this, though, your hair takes a lot of beating and gets damaged through constant blow-drying and styling. Cream Silk Treatment gives your hair 360-degree total damage repair, ensuring women that they will have runway ready hair to match and complete their stylish look.”

Throughout the eight days of Philippine Fashion Week, Cream Silk Treatment made sure that beautiful hair went hand-in-hand with fashion. Catwalk mannequins were given free hair treatments in-between shows to repair their hair after continuous styling, a treat that was gamely welcomed backstage.

Cream Silk also reserved one night to showcase the designs of upcoming designers such as Alodia Cecilia, Anna Leah Salvador, Ciege Cagalawan and noted creators Tippi Ocampo and Reian Mata. Catwalk trends, from the architectural shoulder to bold prints, were completed with sleek and definitely wearable hairstyles.

Show after show, season after season, Cream Silk Treatment supports women who want to keep their hair ready — on and off the runway.
