MANILA, Philippines - The 60th anniversary of the legendary 3-Stripes mark introduced by adidas founder Adi Dassler remains the inspirational focus for the fall/winter 2009 adidas Originals lifestyle collection and its highlight theme: “60 Years of Stripes.”
As a continuation of “60 Years of Soles and Stripes” in spring/summer 2009, this time the theme honors the iconic 3-Stripes trademark in referencing them on legendary footwear and apparel styles that have been proving their credibility and permanence for decades.
The 3-Stripes remain as a main inspiration throughout the special collection and demonstrate that they are one of the most revered and beloved trademarks in pop culture.
The “60 Years of Stripes” range comprises men’s and women’s footwear, apparel and accessories featuring graphics from classical 3-Stripes and leopard patterns to all-over stripes executions.
