Celebrating 20 stylish years
Simple glam was the theme for ladies who celebrated Samsung Metrowear 100. The night gave them license to look gorgeous, but not over the top. Dresses and skirts were the look of choice, with different textures and designs such as lace and hand-painted flowers. The ladies also went for statement accessories such as huge or intricate belts and neckpieces.
Samsung Metrowear 100 marked a first in Philippine fashion history as it gathered 100 fashion designers for one spectacular evening in celebration of Metrowear’s seventh year of honoring the rise of Filipino fashion geniuses. This momentous occasion also celebrated the continued trendsetting success of Metro magazine over the past two decades.
Manila Hotel’s Tent City, where the grandiose affair was held, served as the perfect backdrop for the designs. Guests enjoyed overflowing drinks and mouth-watering dishes as they grooved to the music of mix master DJ Anton Ramos. The beautifully exhibited shoes and bags to pieces of jewelry from the F.A.M.E. accessories designers also captivated guests.

Mich wears a violet dress by Frederick Peralta and pairs it with flat sandals from Grendha.
Hindy Weber-Tantoco
Hindy wears a Venus cut top, paired with a gray-and-black striped pencil skirt that is accentuated with a belt. All are from her label Culte Femme. She got her fashion style for the night from the Metrowear 100 designers’ theme color of violet or black. Her black high heels are from FCUK.
Rocio Olbes
Rocio’s fun and flirty mood that night translated to a pink Rem Divino dress matched with strappy sandals from Janylyn. Her own Rocio handbag finishes her carefree look.
Mika Lagdameo
Mika wears a dress from Mango, paired with Nine West pumps and a Chanel bag. Her look catches the attention of the judges and she is crowned the Samsung Ultra Style Star of the Night.

Liz wears an Avel Bacudio lace dress and matches it with silver Manolo Blahnik shoes and a silver clutch bag from VBH. Her mom’s accessories complement her look.

Carla dons a Puey Quiñones black Venus cut dress with a hand-painted flower. This stylista completes the look with black stilettos and minimal accessories.
