Color splash
It was a night of whimsy and pageantry as the ladies stepped out in colorful and playful outfits. Jeans, funky tights or shorts were worn with the perfect crisp polo or a flirty blouse. Others opted to wear dresses with fun cuts and bright colors. Sweet headbands, flower accents and long necklaces were used as accessories
Manila’s fashionable strutted their way to A.Venue for a night of fashion, art, photography, lomography, music and dance. Perya: A Whimsical Fashion Gala was staged by designer Happy Andrada to showcase her design expressions; bright colors, geometric patterns and detailed designs were shown in her carnival-themed event. It was the perfect stage for showcasing exuberant and festive clothing. Her theatrical couture collection kept the audience more than happy with Happy.
Notable fashion designer Gerry Katigbak was also on board as the show director. The event was organized for the benefit of Hands on Manila, Vides and Bethany Homes Orphanage. It also featured a whirlwind of personalities such as artist Paolo Icasas, accessories designer Dennis Celestial, photographer Darrel Pobre, and graphic designs by Happy Days, Schu, Hat Momma, Maverick by Design, Ang INK and Lomo Manila. De La Salle University Pops Orchestra, Musicality Dance Group and DJ Funk Avy kept everyone entertained.
Cielo Fronteras
Cielo wears her own creation, a red dress with white polka dots inspired by Betty Boop. Her accessories are a pair of vintage earrings from her collection and red stilettos from Janilyn.
Ayra Jimenez
Ayra wears an outfit inspired by the orphan Annie. The black and red checkered dress is from a bazaar, the polka dot headband is from Aldo, oxford shoes from SM and her tights are from Topshop.
Lia Coronado
Lia carries a bag from Longchamp. Her shoes are from Topshop, tights from Zara and her top from Dorothy Perkins, headband from American Apparel and a necklace from her own collection.
Krizty Cheng
Krizty wears a striped dress from Maldita, black leggings from KT, brown shoes from Vivacci and a black bag from the Landmark.
Riezel Ng
