Intuitive to use, the UI is so easy that users won’t have to “think” about how to navigate the mobile— it will all come naturally. Widgets allow users to customize the user interface. They are customizable smaller applications that you can place anywhere on the home screen. The Magic Touch or Dynamic Adaptive Control Pad (DACP) in the Samsung Soul and S7330 is an intuitive and inventive way to navigate the phone. By allowing the icons to change in shape and color, the menu pad displays customized menu choices, and facilitates the navigation process. Samsung also launched the world’s first 8-megapixel camera phone, the Samsung Innov8. It also boasts the latest in imaging applications such as Smile Shot, Blink Shot and Face Recognition features.
Beyond key products, Samsung has leveraged on multiple platforms to engage consumers in ways that are relevant to their lifestyles. The “Live Loud” campaign, for instance, reinforced its focus in the music phone category and creates an outlet for the new generation to use music to be larger than life. The Samsung Fun Club is an innovative and compelling portal providing unique and relevant experiences with an array of user friendly communication applications and lifestyle content.
