The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Picture this: you’re with your coolest friends, you’ve got a fire going, but instead of the usual kumbaya sing-a-long, you’ve got the King of the Jungle himself, Kid Cudi blasting his best hits. Oh and there’s smores too.

The creative kids of Karpos Multimedia are taking us on an excursion as they give us its third annual Wanderland Music and Arts Festival Day Camp 2015. From performances by international indie bands Augustana and Youngblood Hawke to up-and-coming local acts like BP Valenzuela and Similar Objects, this is the music fest that finally earns you your Hipster Wilderness Badge.

Wait, was that a bear? Nope, that was the roaring screams of fans reacting to the news of #legendary local rock band Hale finally (!) reuniting to co-headline this year’s show. Along with local bands, Austin and The Strange Creatures, there’s more than enough homegrown talent to keep things fresh and natural.

Your eyes shouldn’t feel left out from all that amazing music. There are plenty of sights to match those sounds with artistic animals June Digan, Kris Abrigo, and Jason Atienza taking part in live exhibitions.

Are we out of the woods yet? Nope. Because there’s even more in store for you at this year’s Day Camp! Grab your tickets at any SM Tickets outlet for P5,500 but if you hate waiting like the rest of us, there’s an early bird promo that offers it at an even P4,800.00 — as long as you have a Wandercard, that is.
