Getting lucky with feng shui expert Marites Allen
MANILA, Philippines - Marites Allen serves as the chief feng shui consultant for her United Kingdom and Philippine feng shui team with established global connections in Euorpe, the US and Asia. Her team includes many of Asia’s qualified and respected certified feng shui specialists to provide a full range of consultations for individuals, corporations, and celebrities.
Her team includes Malaysia’s Gary Tan, the Philippines’ Laurence Yap and Ka Ken Chua, and Singapore’s Janet Yung.
Maritess is the president and CEO f World of Feng Shui Philippines. She is an international feng shui master trained in different feng shui disciplines under respected masters in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and China. She has been practicing feng shui for over 15 years.
Her career has been filled with outstanding achievements and milestons.
In 2004, the first annual feng shui convention in Metro Manila was hosted by Marites and she opened her first feng shui boutique Since then, she has opened four more.
The following year, 2005, she started her regular column, “Getting Lucky,†for a broadsheet and continues writing for many publications including Mabuhay, the in-flight magazine of Philippine Airlines, and more recently for Asian Journal and Balikbayan magazines.
In 2008, the first episode of the Marites Allen Show aired, featuring feng shui discussions and famous personalities as guests.
In 2012, she launched her fashion brand called Frigga (frigga.co.uk), which is based on the luck-enhancing principles of feng shui. The brand is in partnership with a team of London designers and use fabrics, colors and prints with feng shui motives and aspirations.
In 2013, Marites completed fashion courses at the University of Artus-London College of Fashion to enhance her fashion styling background. Thus yea, she was conferred the title Master in Feng Shui by the International Feng Shui Association, the first and only Filipina to be recognized by the organization. Recently, she was granted her British citizenship and is now a citizen of both the Philippines and the UK. Marites also wrote a new book called Lucky Fashion Guide.
When not traveling abroad for presentations and seminars, Marites enjoys spending time bonding with her family, date nights with her British husband Nick, and her children Nikki, Shannen, Kirck and Kevin.
