There’s no ‘I’ in ‘Yolanda’

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Typhoon #YolandaPH may have devastated thousands of our countrymen living in Tacloban. But the one thing it didn’t destroy, besides our foothold on social media, is the indomitable, indefatigable Filipino spirit. Sure, the online community may have gotten it wrong with CNN saying that we were “unbelievably resilient, long suffering, good natured… a bunch of survivors” (really, we are!) but with countless calls-to-action from celebrities to the everyman on how we can help and do our part, myth might as well be reality. Young STAR puts together a list of some of the places and ways in which your time and/or resources might prove most valuable this weekend.
