This girl goes places

MANILA, Philippines - I love fashion because it’s one of my favorite forms of self-expression,” muses 23-year-old Tricia Gosingtian. “Fashion makes me feel good!”

True to her age, style blogger, model and photographer Gosingtian displays youthfulness, playfulness and genuine individuality in today’s fashion scene. The doll-like blogger that we’ve all grown fond of has been famous for taking her fashion cues from Japanese fashion icons such as models from the pages of ViVi and Popteen. The heavy Asian influence has been predominant in her looks and it’s definitely what sets her apart from the rest of the bloggers. There’s no stopping Tricia as she continues to make waves in the fashion blogosphere ever since her professional career debut in 2007.

Garnering accolades such as Candy magazine Style Star, Cosmopolitan magazine’s fun fearless female as well as being one of the 24 Tumblr bloggers sponsored for New York Fashion week, it’s no question that Tricia has echoed and embodied her blog’s title of “Tricia Will Go Places” by being everywhere and beyond.

Sale away: The fashion blogger leaves Girbaud happy with her newest purchase.

Today, Tricia has taken up a new venture by partnering with SM Mall of Asia and being titled as one of their newest Style Icons for SM Mall of Asia’s end-of-season sale. She says, “It feels overwhelming to be part of SM’s Style Icons especially since MOA is the biggest mall in the country.” Tricia and SM Mall of Asia both believe that fashion is a form of creativity as well as a show of a person’s individuality. Along with Camille Co and David Guison, these fashion bloggers truly exemplify what SM MOA aims to address. This season, Mall of Asis is ready to bring a fresher perspective fit for today’s fashion-savvy shoppers with newly opened stores like Japan-based brand Uniqlo, Onitsuka and the soon-to-open Forever 21, the clothing line for which Gosingtian is a brand ambassador.

Tricia says, “SM MOA is the perfect fashion hub. It houses all the nicest brands that I love like Zara, Mango and Topshop. Nothing else comes close to the wide selection of stores there that cater to all kinds of styles.”

This July 6 to 15, Tricia’s favorite brands in SM Mall of Asia will be part of the end of season sale.

Soft hues: Tricia sports a pastel colored ensemble, tops it off with a dark blue floral blazer and accessorizes with a black leather bag and a ribbon headband, all of which are available in SM Mall of Asia.

“I’m really excited about the fact that my favorite brands will have discounts up to 70 percent off.” Everyone will inevitably find something at SM Mall of Asia — at a fraction of the original price. “Now is the best time to go shopping! I’m sure most students would love new sets of clothes to welcome the new school year.” Sales are the perfect opportunity to maximize that shopping budget, and it’s always a great feeling to walk away with a great bargain. Tricia invites everyone to be part of the end-of-season sale at SM Mall of Asia and imparts these final words: “Don’t forget to bring eco bags if you plan on buying a lot. Save the earth in your own little way. Being eco-friendly can be stylish too!”
