Coffee goes carnivale
MANILA, Philippines - Last Oct. 19, the open park at Greenbelt 3 was transformed into a dream carnival as lifestyle coffee retailer Seattle’s Best Coffee (SBC) unveiled its four limited-edition holiday concoctions and kicked off its tie-up with international children’s charity, World Vision. Smothered with flavored drinks, prizes, and appetizing holiday treats alongside engaging carnival activities, the afternoon was eye-candy and tummy filling, to say the least.
SBC general manager Rea Cruz unveiled four exciting new SBC holiday flavors which best exemplify what the brand is all about — fun. Coffee Cream Pie, Chocolate Cherry, Cookies & Mint, and Coffee Hazelnut made for mouth-watering libations as we toasted to the holiday spirit, and most especially, the exciting new partnership that crystallized between SBC and World Vision.
“It takes work, it takes effort, and sometimes, it takes a little help for someone to be able to achieve the best that they can be,” relates Rea Cruz. Jun Godornes, World Vision OIC NRD assistant director, adds, “SBC is giving us another venue to engage the public and give them an opportunity for creating lasting change in the lives of the children and families we serve.”
Hosts Divine Lee and Victor Basa later revealed that when customers purchase a SBC holiday or classic drink within the promo period, they will receive two stickers — one for their “dream card” through which 18 stickers will earn them a leather journal containing freebies, and another which is to be installed on a World Vision Dream Tree found in all SBC branches for the promo.
